Disturbing News: Glyphosate Production will be on the Rise
I received some alarming news today. Our leader signed an executive order aimed at boosting domestic production of glyphosate. If that doesn’t bother you, it should. Right now, there are tens of thousands of lawsuits against Bayer, the company that acquired Monsanto, the producer of Roundup weedkiller. These lawsuits claim that Roundup caused serious health issues, including cancer.
Here’s the thing: even if glyphosate itself isn’t conclusively linked to cancer, infertility, or birth defects, it’s only one chemical in a product that contains 10–20 other ingredients. And these other chemicals are rarely tested together.
